Coming Home

MBG Asia - Katipunan, Cebu and Tacloban - July 3-22, 2026 Stepping back into the cradle of time, where childhood was sweet, simple, and filled with dreams. Retracing our steps to a time when we thought little of the world, yet somehow felt bigger than it. Until the vastness of the real world humbled us, making us swallow the balloon of ego we had nurtured as we grew. We were humbled, but also...

Christmas in Paradise: The Marcoses X Krabi and Phuket

It's Christmas time and yes it is the most wonderful time of the year, after all, it is our Saviour's birthday! This time the family took on a different kind of Christmas. It was a Christmas out in the open, to see and feel the greatness of His creations. Away from the corners of our house, into a place sunny and bright. Away from the coldness of the concrete floor, into the warm sandy...

A Weekend in Batam

September 28-30 2018 What good way to end a busy week by having a short weekend trip to a place where fun meets the sun. With just a short ferry ride from Singapore, we're all smiles and headed our way to Batam, a small island in Indonesia.  Batam is a shopping haven, from clothes, toys, groceries and a lot of cheap finds! It is visit-worthy for budget travelers and a great escape...

Beyond the Cliffs of Andaman Sea: Sail Away to Krabi

Imagine yourself lounged under the glistening sun. Surrounded by magnificent seascapes of hanging garden atop a limestone cliff, cradled by the waves of emerald water of the Andaman. I imagined it, a thousand times too many. Krabi has always been my dream destination. Not because an island was in the movie but I have always known that there is something enchanting beyond those cliffs....

The City of Dreams: Macau (Gabby's Birthday Week HK-Macau 12/03-08/16)

It has always been my dream to see the Ruins of St. Paul's Church in Macau. I remembered being fascinated by it through a book I happened to borrow in our High School library. It has always been engraved in my mind ever since. I thought how come a ruin, through the passage of time, stood ever beautiful and captivating. I wanted to see it for myself and touch those pillars that stood the test of...

Up close with the Locals! (Gabby's Birthday Week HK-Macau 12/03-08/16)

Our second day in Hong Kong was our busiest! We have been to 4 different attractions. It was planned that later on that night we will be going to their famous Night Market to grab some street delicacies and bargain shopping. Unfortunately, we had gone back on our way to the hotel a little too late and our Litol Biw was already sleeping in papa's arms. We decided to just hit the sheets, after...

Gabby with Mickey and Friends @ Disneyland Hotel (12/06-08/16)

Gabrielle is mine and Marlon's happy ever after. Her birth was the greatest blessing we received. She is the force of gravity that pulls everything in our lives into proper places. When Gab's 5th birthday was fast approaching, Marlon thought it was finally the right time to bring her to Disneyland. She will have the Mickey and Minnie birthday party that she ever dreamed of. No lavish...

The Marcoses explores Cuatro Islas!

Sweet summer of 2016, the salty smell of the sea, the sound of the waves gently kissing the sand, the gentle itch of sunburn and the hint of tan on my skin and lastly, the fun that comes with it. Oh, I would love to experience all of it, and yes, I did plus the whole of The Marcoses too! We had the satisfaction to ourselves, to have spent our summer to not one but the scenic Cuatro Islas of...
