We are a month in Toronto today!

How was it after a month in Toronto? I can't say for sure, baby steps here and we just learned to walk. Importantly, we slowly found our feet and knows where to direct our steps going out and about. I am still not a friend with google maps but I am never shy so I always asked for directions from people whenever I am out.

A look outside!

After a month, Marlon's all settled in at work, Gabby has started school and I am still jobless lol. I have a part-time home-based job but Toronto is so nice not to be out! I am working hard to finally find my place and join the workforce here. Fighting!

After school!

Our rental is slowly coming up together, the basic stuff and all that is left is to add some extra punch of arte2. As we all know, Gabby loves toys but this time we are not going to put up a playroom for her. She will have a bedroom fit for a little lady. We found our local grocery shop, nearby pharmacy, and clinics. We found a good local homegrown pizza that is now our weekend staple! Yum!

Toronto is a paradise, where the city meets earth. A dynamic place of busy and laidback. Wherever you look is nature and people at it's best. Every day is a breath of fresh air and new enthusiasm. The city never burns you out, it is vibrant, colorful and scenic!

the first TASTE of snow, lol

The people are nice and friendly! You never run out of courtesy, friendly chit chats, and smiles. Torontonians take their courtesy with esteem.

Time is spent where it matters most. You never race with time. Everything here moves harmoniously, it is never rushed and never pressured. Marlon is always home early :) We have more time for night time chikas

Moving to Toronto was never an easy decision, knowing what we had to give up in Singapore. We still struggle, hustle but enjoying more of life every day as it comes!
