Quick Escape to Nirwana: TravellingTrio plus One Bad Mama (07/06-07/14)

A bustling city, mile-high roads, tall buildings and glaring lights are what defines Singapore, a concrete jungle of bricks and stones. They said it was fancy, living in a sky-rise, they said it was nice being retro and always on the move. Well, I said otherwise, I said it was fun but it was always gloomy, it was always rushed and so I longed for redemption, a therapy to some cherry and sunny place.

Grabbed them passports and booked a ferry routed to Bintan, Indonesia, for an hour of fun, riding the waves straight to the sunny place they called Nirwana!

Upon entrance, we were greeted with Indonesian hospitality and warmth welcome from the hotel staff. At the lobby pretty Indonesian ladies dancing to an Indonesian hymn complete with their national outfit and a complimentary flower garland and a cup of lemon water for the arriving guest!

Safari and the wild

Gecko, wild birds, butterflies, elephants and so much more indulged us as we wander to Nirwana’s own safari.

The pool

Albeit small but nonetheless a good soak to Nirwana’s turquoise stretch of water, with kiddie area where Gabby enjoyed so much plus an overview of the white-sand beach!

The beach

White to golden sand never gets old with the beach bums. It is always the crème of the crop, the lemon to tequila, the salt to a margarita and lastly the gorgeous to a tanned-skin!

Nirwana Gardens is a place of hospitality and elegance with a trace of deeply rooted history. From the Mediterranean vibe of the place interior to the sunny outstretched of the surrounding, it was indeed a piece of paradise just outside Singapore.
