BIW is ONE

Papa threw the biggest party for the little girl, why first birthdays are just exciting! Marlon was not able to get home as work did not permit him. My pictures didn't help at all because of my superb photographic skills!

We originally planned to have a Tinkerbell theme birthday and rented an avenue full of balloons, candy corners, play equipment, ice cream, and a beautiful view. The party organizer went overboard and sent all 10 mascots of different characters. We had the party turned into a mascot frenzy for all the little guest's delight and the celebrant's fright lol

The party was successfully hosted with an awesome party facilitator, they prepared games, stories, and extra guidance for all the kids in the play area. It was a fun night with family and friends. Gabby may not remember how splendid her first birthday has been, but I have pictures kept for her to look back on.

A little poem penned before the BIG 1!

Dear Gabby,

When you were born, right then I knew

I will never be alone, I got a friend in you

I am twenty-three and you are turning ONE

Feels like having a sister that gives me so much fun

When I turn thirty and you will be seven

I will be more like a mother, than hanging out 'till eleven

Maybe when I am forty and you are like seventeen

I will teach you how to party just like a disco queen
