Glazed Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon and brown sugar always spells comfort! Now combined with cream cheese, soft milky buns, you are in for a super yummy delight!


Ingredients


You will need:

Dough
  • For the dough 
  • 4 cups all purpose flour 
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp instant dry yeast 
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup melted butter, unsalted 
  • 1 large egg 

For the filling:
  • 1/2 cup softened butter, unsalted 
  • 1 cup brown sugar 
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon 

For the glaze:
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon softened butter, unsalted 
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk 
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla 

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer, combine dry ingredients and mix.
  2. Add the wet ingredients and mix.
  3. Transfer the dough in a surface and knead for 10 more mins
  4. Grease a bowl and let dough rest for an hour
  5. Deflate the dough and flatten into square
  6. Spread the butter, sprinkle the sugar and dust the cinnamon powder



  1. Moisten one end of the dough with water and roll the dough over to tuck it in
  2. Cut into equal pieces, around 40g each for mini rolls
  3. Place in a pan and let rest for 45 mins



  1. Bake for 30-35 mins at 350F or 15-17 mins for mini rolls
  2. While waiting, combine cream cheese, butter and beat
  3. Add half of the p sugar and vanilla, beat
  4. Add the remaining sugar and milk, beat until creamy
  5. Sprinkle glaze on top of the freshly baked buns
